RHS Chelsea Flower Show 2024

The Addleshaw Goddard Junglette Garden

Award: Gold Medal

Junglette

Inspired by the balconies of our Junglette project in King's Cross, London, our RHS Chelsea Flower Show 2024 design endeavours to spotlight the untapped potential of compact outdoor spaces. In urban landscapes, barren balconies and terraces are ubiquitous. In them, we see enormous potential to be transformed into vibrant green havens. Our balcony design not only creates a tranquil sanctuary but also serves as a shield against the ceaseless urban bustle, contributing to an enhanced sense of wellbeing for residents.

Second Life

With profound gratitude to our esteemed sponsor, Addleshaw Goddard, we're thrilled to unveil the next chapter for The Addleshaw Goddard Junglette Garden post-RHS Chelsea Flower Show 2024. Set to flourish anew at Rock Trust in Edinburgh, this transition marks a pivotal and impactful moment in the garden's journey.

Rock Trust, a beacon of hope for youth homelessness, offers indispensable aid to those aged 16-25. From critical assistance to nurturing programs, they empower young individuals on the cusp of adulthood to forge a brighter path, steering clear of homelessness.

Embarking on its second life, the garden will commence with an on-site gardening workshop led by Mike McMahon Studio. Joined by volunteers from Rock Trust's service users, team, and Addleshaw Goddard, this collaborative effort aims to sow seeds of transformation and renewal.
