Jewlsy Mathews

Director

BSc MCOptom

Having completed two degrees of wildly different persuasions, Anthropology at UCL and Optometry at City University, London, Jewlsy has always been enthralled by seeking out a breadth of knowledge.  Upon completion of her second degree she has held multiple managerial positions and headed up departments at the ambitious eyewear designers Cubitts and Finlay London.

Jewlsy is no stranger to wearing multiple hats.  She revels in automating processes to minimise admin allowing for more time to be funneled to core work. She is a strong proponent that the systems and processes that govern any business have profound impacts on the success of that business.  The relevant aspects of her previous roles have primarily focused on product development, regulation, compliance and people management.

Outside of the studio, Jewlsy whiles away her hours in the kitchen or immersed in the latest drama of Westminster politics.
